Weekly train to run between Bhubaneswar and Rameswaran

Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram Bhubaneswar Weekly Express would be introduced from May 23

A new train between Bhubaneswar and Rameswaram would be introduced from May 23, railway sources said.

The Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram Bhubaneswar Weekly Express will leave Bhubaneswar at 12.00 noon every Friday and arrive at Rameswaram at 11.55 pm every Saturday.

The down train will leave Rameswaram at 6.30 a.m every Sunday and arrive Bhubaneswar at 6.40 pm every Monday.

The express will have stops at Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Vijayawada, Gudur, Chennai Egmore, Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakanam, Thanjavur, Tiruchirapali, Koraikuddi and Manmadurai stations.

The train would have one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class coaches, four general 2nd class coaches, two guard-cum-luggage vans and one pantry car.
