Team manager Ranjib Biswal's report on India's disastrous Twenty20 World Cup campaign in the West Indies is being examined by the BCCI and appropriate action will be taken on its basis, Board spokesman Rajiv Shukla said here today.

Shukla said the BCCI President Shashank Manohar and other officials were looking into the report and will take a decision based on the findings.

"Indian team manager Ranjib Biswal has submitted his report on the Twenty20 World Cup to Mr Manohar and the board is looking into it and will take the appropriate decision," Shukla said.

"Biswal has already met the Board president and apprised him of all the happenings," he added.

Biswal had made some recommendations in his report on the trip, which ended in humiliation for inaugural champions India when they were knocked out of the showpiece event after failing to win even a single Super Eights stage match.

"I have submitted the report to the BCCI about the T20 World Cup. The BCCI is looking at the report and they will get back to you. There are certain issues which I have recommended to the BCCI and I hope the Board knows how to react to that and I hope, the Board reacts to that," Biswal had said at the time of submitting the report.

The report highlights various technical flaws of the batsmen and poor fielding standard of the team, besides touching upon fitness and disciplinary issues.
