6,000 homes for flood-affected in K'taka

Non-profit signs MoU with state government for the homes for the flood affected in north K'taka

The Govindprasad Humanitarian foundation today entered into an MoU with the Karnataka government to construct over 6000 houses for the flood ravaged people of north Karnataka.

The MoU which is part of 'Aasare', a housing scheme launched by the government under private-public partnership, would entail constructing houses in Belgaum, Koppal, Bagalkot and Davangere at a cost of Rs 75 crore, a release said.
