PTI | July 5, 2010

Nasdaq-listed Sify Technologies today launched a cloud services platform -- Sify mylife -- which lets customers pay their utility bills, book tickets and take up online tests from their outlets.

"This service will enable the customers to book tickets, pay electricity bills, buy rail tickets online... it is a platform where all service providers can offer their services to customers," Sify Technologies chairman and managing director Raju Vegesna told reporters here.

The cloud services platform would offer these services to Sify iWays (cyber cafes) as well as its broadband customers, he said.

"We currently have this service in 1,200 Sify outlets.

Our target is to offer these services in all the 1.6 lakh cyber cafes present across the country," he said.
