Sachin Pilot holds meeting with BSNL, postal officials

MoS to dedicate WiMax services to the state

Union Minister of State for Communication and Information Technology Sachin Pilot, who arrived in Aizwal held a meeting with senior officials of the BSNL, Postal Services and National Informatics Centre.

Pilot was received at the Lengpui airport near here by state Education Minister Lalsawta, Information Technology Minister Zodintluanga and parliamentary secretary for Industries H. Zothangliana.

The Union Minister would inaugurate Wireless in Local Loop Mobile Switching Centre at Thuampui locality here tomorrow and also would launch the DVDO Demo and WiMax Service for the state in a press conference to be held tomorrow before leaving the state.

This was Pilot?s first visit to Mizoram while his late father, former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader Rajesh Pilot visited the state a number of times.
