BSNL customers can now access TV on computer

BSNL's IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) service was launched at Vijayawada by the company's State Chief General Manager T N Sudhindra Kumar.

A customer of BSNL with broadband service can access a range of television channels on his computer. The customers have to subscribe one plan out of four existing plans, which are in the range of Rs 100 to Rs 280 per month, to access the TV channels, Kumar said on the occasion.

IPTV service will provide better pictures than DTH or cable service, Kumar said adding that IPTV also provides music on demand and video recording.

He also inaugurated 'Enterprise Business Gold' scheme to provide better services to large scale business houses.
